A child is snatched for ransom from a school. However, the wrong child
was taken, the abductors have a royal child. Unit T, a specialist unit
set up to combat people trafficking, run by Karen Harris becomes involved.
The trafficker organisation known as the ‘Circle’ has had enough of this girls
interference, deciding she must be eliminated. Now Karen becomes the
hunted in a fight not only for her own life, but the very survival of her unit
Lieutenant Colonel Karen Harris, commander of Unit T, formed to combat
people trafficking, is struggling to contain the situation. This is brought to a
head, following an operation in London, which goes disastrously wrong,
Karen is determined to bring the traffickers to justice, follows them with a
badly conceived covert operation, resulting in the traffickers taking her.

It began with a letter from Nigeria, that led to the uncovering of a trafficking
route, directing Karen Harris, commander of Unit T, into the very core of the
trafficker groups. Her soldier's families are no longer safe, as the fight becomes
more and more deadly. Karen's goes covert, leaving her vulnerable, without
backup, fighting a trafficker out to destroy her units morale. This operation
takes her into a world Karen believed she knew, but does anyone really know?
